The drinks, the jokes, the faces and the music

Become parables and conversations

And block out the calm of a sleeping landscape
We’re few and far between, scattered all across the Earth
But our world's are connected through these songs
And if nothing else these trips serve to remind
No matter where I go I’ll belong to my tribe

We’re fed mythologies and paragons of virtue
Images of self we’re bound to break

And that might be the reason we're still here

'Cause perfect creatures don’t have a need to self-express
But we’re full of great ideas to make things better
