GREAT IDEAS NEED LANDING GEAR
I have an idea to change the world; a way to make it better
I pitched it to my boss, he says it’s gonna make us rich
I had a chat with marketing, they say we’re gonna reach out to millions
They only had a few quite reasonable suggestions
But I know it’s gonna be better for everyone
It’s gonna be better for our daughters and sons

But great ideas need landing gear
I made some calls to find the funding but the investors didn’t like it
So I ironed out the edges and took a few requests
Then I got some urgent issues and only I could fix them
So I was taken off, now I think some intern’s now on the project
But I know it’s gonna be better for everyone
